The post of Inventory Specialist is now vacant at our company. Using a range of log editing and preempting procedures, the job is responsible for inventory management. In addition, the Inventory Specialist informs the station Sales Managers on inventory overstock and availability, all while aiming to maximize daily inventory and income potential.

Qualifications:

• Maintains necessary files and paperwork; creates standard reports for management approval.
• Do material stock checks over the phone, recording and sending any necessary data.
• Interact with shipping or inventory coordinators, department managers, and internal and external customers to address any complaints about material stock inventory levels that may arise.
• Verifies inventory, monitors order points, places and expedites orders, and receives, organize, and stores tocks tools, equipment, and parts prior to receiving, unpacking, and storing them.
• Visually inspects and measures tools and equipment for faults and wear, and reports damage or wear to supervisor.
• Use an identifying tag, stamp, or electric marking tool to name and identify tools and equipment.
• Calculates inventory balance, price, and cost by compiling data on material, equipment, goods, or supplies received or delivered.
• Cost-cutting measures such as par-level manipulation, reorder points/min/max, and holding-cost reduction are all identified.
• Assists in the formulation and implementation of physical inventories.
• Working in a fast-paced, professional, customer-service-oriented team atmosphere is required.

Skills:

• Safety regulations, procedure manuals, and operation and maintenance instructions are examples of materials written in the English language that must be read, written, and understood.
• Communication skills, interpersonal skills, organizational capacity, understanding of excellent body mechanics, safety measures, and infection control, ability to follow directions, and knowledge of section specific exam material and instruments are all feasible criteria.
• Pallet jacks, for instance, need the capacity to manipulate machinery.
• It is strongly required that you have two years of related work experience in a Material Management role (such as inventory, distribution, etc.).
• Going online and doing basic Internet searches, checking email, creating and sending attachments, and using basic email functionalities are all examples of basic computer literacy.
