To help us further integrate video material into our marketing plan, we need a creative and attentive Videographer. In this position, you will oversee the creation and editing of promotional videos for our website, giving site visitors and potential clients a chance to educate themselves as part of our business’s sales and marketing process. One of the most important qualities we’re looking for in a candidate is the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and become the go-to expert in video production. Your major responsibility will be to increase the platform’s user engagement, pipeline conversion, revenue, and retention in line with the strategic strategy by effectively communicating our cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications:

• Prepares for the video shoots by figuring out in advance what equipment will be needed for things like lighting, sound, backdrops, and any other unique requirements.
• Plans media ingest and coverage in coordination with the Director of Multimedia and the Media Coordinator.
• Purchases, rents, and/or borrows equipment as needed, within financial constraints established in consultation with the Technical Director.
• Recommends to the Technical Director and the Deputy Director of Operations what video equipment should be purchased.
• Coordinates video production and editing efforts with the Technical Services group.
• Helps out wherever it’s needed in the Technical Services team, but focuses primarily on video-related work.
• works together with the crew and location employees to plan and record the pre-production process.
• takes part in developing, implementing, evaluating, and updating the video style palette.
• Gives necessary staff instructions on how to use and operate the technical equipment needed for each event.
• Utilizes expertise in post-production, videography, and videography to oversee, prepare, and record video shoots.

Skills:

• Capacity to teach and/or work successfully with the part-time video production team and partners from other internal and external organizations.
• Having the ability to collaborate well with a sizable and diverse team of on-camera talent, partners, and stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in digital and multi-media, including videography and video editing, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in digital and multi-media.
• Talent for thriving in and adjusting to a dynamic, multi-department team environment.
• experience using one’s own judgment to protect confidential data.
