Job Description

We are searching for a video producer to join its video team so that we can create YouTube films about markets and finance that are incredibly interesting and shareable. The variety of videos will include on-location features, explainers, and interviews. To produce engaging films from conception to completion, you need be an expert in idea generation, scripting videos, editing, and graphics. You should be able to direct and record subjects using remote setups in addition to working with and nurturing on-air talent. Producing, editing, and occasionally shooting educational and timely hosted markets and finance-focused videos fall within the purview of the video producer. The best candidates for this position will have expertise managing studio and on-location shoots, producing and editing videos in the native YouTube style, generating graphics, and discovering and nurturing talent.

Qualifications:

• Follow the most recent market trends and software/video hardware innovations.
• Make certain that the film promotes the university’s image and adheres to our brand message.
• See to it that both audio and visual content complies with copyright laws. Obtain permits as necessary by working with third parties.
• assist with social media promotion plan and regularly contribute videos and other content to our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram sites.
• Transfer videos to sharing platforms like Vimeo and YouTube. Monitor viewership and metrics to enhance impact and exposure.
• Produce audiovisual content from scratch, including planning, shooting, and editing, and delivering the finished product on the due date.
• Perform various duties related to the operation of video equipment such as cameras, teleprompters, microphones, etc.
• Put on the director hat and oversee the production as a whole, from the cameras to the lights to the sound.
• Finish the project to our exacting specifications for both audio and video quality.
• Applicants with photography experience will occasionally be asked to put that skill to use as needed for projects.

Skills:

• Expertise in using Adobe Premiere and the other Adobe applications for professional video editing and graphic design (After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
• Experience with media capture/import, raw media organization, video/audio editing, media management, and project archive storage is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in video production; portfolio demonstrating completion of multiple projects of a high standard.
• having experience using a variety of camera settings, including but not limited to the Sony FS7, A7S, and remote filming through Skype, Zoom, etc.
• For video editing, we currently use Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, and anyone with professional experience and familiarity with audio and lighting equipment should have no trouble picking up on the software.
