UX Designers interact with stakeholders, developers, and designers to solve significant challenges. UX Designers do user research, information architecture, content strategy, interaction design, user interface design, and visual design.

Qualifications:

• Produce design ideas and work collaboratively with teams to identify which concepts should go ahead into detailed design and ultimately production based on usability testing, standard procedures, and technical input. Producing design ideas is an important step in the design process.
• Work in tandem with the other members of the design team to tackle any and all areas of user-centered design, such as information architecture, task analysis, user flows and stories, navigation, content hierarchies, interface design, and the development of operational prototypes.
• You will be an integral member of our Design Team, where you will collaborate directly with Product Managers, Subject Experts, and Developers to translate user demands into flows and interfaces that are both practical and inspirational.
• Work with developers and analysts to execute approved ideas by applying critical thinking to difficult problems. Build on current frameworks and devise new techniques to creating design systems.
• Design full user experiences that are both user-friendly and align with the project’s goal by working with project partners to understand the precise requirements.
• Design tools, systems, tasks, ergonomics, user interfaces, and settings using human factors and cognitive concepts. Low- and high-fidelity prototypes convey concepts.
• Make and keep track of a variety of visual representations of the project, such as conceptual diagrams, site maps, and the functional specifications that go with them.
• Promote the advantages and principles of a user-centered approach throughout the company. Iterate depending on fresh information, criticism, and collaboration.
• Collaborate with quality engineering, development, and marketing teams to understand product and branding directions and provide acceptable and consistent design solutions.
• Promote design, usability, and accessibility standards throughout design and engineering teams and the firm. Explore industry trends and new mobile, desktop, and online technologies.

Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to operate in a highly technological setting
• Knowledge of service concepts and methods. This comprises customer needs assessment, service quality requirements, and satisfaction evaluation.
• For the development of IXD artifacts, documentation, and presentations, experience with common design applications (Adobe products, Sketch, Omnigraffle, Keynote/PPT) is required; alternatively, proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator or Sketch is required.
• The B.A.’s (focus in Library Sciences, Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related area of study is a plus) Case studies and prior projects are included in a designer’s portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to work with technological development teams or in a technical or scientific context. Proven familiarity in Illustrator, Photoshop, AdobeXD, Sketch and other design technologies.
