The IT Program Manager oversees the program’s day-to-day operations and creates long-term and strategic goals to guarantee that client needs are met. Performs horizontal integration planning and interfaces with various functional areas to enable timely implementation of technological solutions and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Delivery excellence using a client project execution framework and industry best practices includes client relationship management, project and program management, vendor management, proposal development and review, and cost modelling.
• Create and put in place efficient processes and procedures that allow the team to respond quickly to surges in demand for contract staff. Ascertain that the SLA is met.
• It’s crucial to communicate effectively with stakeholders and management on critical factors like as budgets, risks, and schedules.
• Throughout their portfolio’s ongoing and forthcoming projects, supply and demand are balanced, with new project managers and other resources hired as needed.
• Ensure that all activities are completed on schedule, that client tasking instructions are clear and precise, that contract workers are qualified to complete the work, and that any potential personnel difficulties are avoided.
• Plan and organize tasks including hardware and software installation and upgrades, programming and systems design, computer network creation, and deployment of Internet and intranet sites.
• Responsible for overseeing the development, design, and optimization of one or more information technology or systems functions that support the organization’s business operations and technical information systems platforms.
• Regularly identify and address operational issues with the IT team, partners, and suppliers.
• Stay current on industry trends by participating in outside professional events. Form connections with other project managers in legal and other areas to keep up with activity at these institutions.
• Metrics, internal process improvement, Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions are some ways to measure the quality and efficiency of teamwork.

Skills:

• There must be at least 12 years of progressive leadership experience in the public and/or private sectors in the fields of IT and/or consulting to apply.
• It is necessary to have prior experience leading strategic software development programs/projects, preferably for mobile networking products or cloud-native/SaaS solutions.
• IT-II security clearance or a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check is required (NACLC).
• Business and management principles that relate to strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modelling, leadership approaches, production methods, and people and resource coordination, as well as economic and accounting principles and practices, and the financial market
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a comparable recognized Project or Program Management qualification is required.
