A Billing Coordinator is now being sought after to join our Finance and Accounting department. The billing coordinators are in charge of ensuring that project financial data in the management information system is accurate and complete and that external client invoices are produced on schedule. Your ability to assess projects’ financial performance and help project managers, project directors, and others in promoting the financial success of their projects will be put to good use in this job.

  • Ensure timely billing and payment of client bills by monitoring Accounts Receivable (AR) and unbilled time and costs for assigned attorneys/clients/matter. Communicate with all parties and resolve any issues or concerns in a proactive manner.
  • Accurately completes duties and answers to enquiries in a timely way.
  • Analyze and fix e-billing rejections autonomously, with no further escalation.
  • To find answers and the best ways to satisfy client billing needs, consult with lawyers and legal administrative assistants as well as make use of all the features available in the firm’s billing systems.
  • Create, sustain, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding constructive working relationships with all internal and external contacts. This job regularly communicates with firm attorneys, client contacts, legal administrative assistants, and others both inside and outside the firm.
  • Manage all billing responsibilities for assigned electronic billing clients, assigned attorneys, and other challenging clients and cases.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the firm’s invoices adhere to customer billing specifications.
  • Incoming requests should be handled for client bills, write-offs, discounts, bill template updates, electronic billing requests, report requests, access changes, billing rate information, and a variety of other billing-related enquiries.
  • To efficiently respond to information requests from clients, attorneys, and legal administrative assistants, reports and inquiry tools in the firm’s billing systems, Microsoft Excel, and other reporting and information tools must be used.
  • Customers, attorneys, paralegals, and assistants may all be reached by email or phone.


  • Ability to identify priorities and adhere to deadlines.
  • The absolute minimal education is a bachelor’s degree. at least three years of expertise The very minimum level of knowledge is a thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting concepts, particularly fund accounting.
  • The ability to thrive in a team situation and search for ways to help others out.
  • Knowing how to submit appeals and bill insurance would be advantageous.
  • The billing coordinator must be familiar with the terms and procedures related to the legal system in order to guarantee that the time and expenses that are invoiced are accurate.
