The Tax Preparer prepares and examines tax payments, returns, and accounting functions to complete records. Individual and corporate tax preparation. Identifies tax credits and obligations and assures timely, correct returns. The Tax Preparer fills out tax forms according to policy and federal and state law. Tax-law and regulation experts. You’ll also need good time management to meet deadlines. Tax preparers must also organize and retain estimates.

  • Tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships are handled by this firm. Tax preparation should be done when required. Be a source of information for both internal and external advisers, both internal and external As required, assist the tax preparation team with a variety of tasks.
  • Help guarantee that timely filings are accomplished by assisting with the calculation of the quarterly income tax provision, which includes the compilation of quarterly tax estimates as well as year-end extension estimates.
  • Interact professionally and promptly with Tax Preparation Mid-Level Reviewer, Tax Senior, and Tax Resolution Manager. Answer/transfer calls and inform customers on case progress as required.
  • Help with federal, state, international, property, sales and use tax research Help with tax audits and other ad hoc initiatives.
  • Make a list of all the information you need from clients. Work on projects and other assignments as needed. Determine and charge for the cost of preparing the document.
  • Examine accounts and records and utilize available sources to create industry-specific state and local tax returns for clients in accordance with prescribed rates, rules, and regulations; update returns in a timely manner at the request of the client or authorized reviewer.
  • Asset additions (acquisitions, disposals, and impairments) should be properly recorded and depreciated for accounting and tax reasons. Be responsible for submitting property tax and sales tax returns in a timely manner.
  • Research tax concerns in all related areas, write up findings, and maintain legislative documents by evaluating, interpreting, and applying new or amended legislation.
  • Maintain tax records and perform tax research based on state and local tax return instructions and tax legislation by interpreting statutes/regulations.
  • Help clients with direct tax questions and set up appointments. File completed transaction tax returns with different government agencies using different methods (paper, e-file, and EDI upload).


  • In order to evaluate whether or whether the company’s financial records (Balance Sheet and Income Statement) can be changed from cash to accrual accounting, an examination of the data is conducted.
  • Ability to learn new software skills and be good at using Microsoft Office Suite programs like Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The ability to understand math concepts and use them – Figure out how to use math concepts like proportional thinking and percentages.
  • This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Tax preparer having a minimum of four years’ experience, preferably in a high-volume context, in the tax preparation industry.
  • Examines accounting documents, such as financial statements and other financial reports, to verify that they meet departmental requirements for correctness, completeness, and compliance.
  • Being able to write and speak English fluently. Ability to read, understand, and analyze basic technical procedures and government rules. Being able to write reports and business letters
