Job Title : Swim Instructor 1st Shift

Qualifications:

• Update your Acac software often so that you can effectively reply to questions from members and guests. Knowledge of the water’s regulations and ability to explain them to members and guests are two essential skills for this position.
• Sets up and takes down educational equipment, among other responsibilities, and may be required to organize teaching materials and devise lesson plans.
• In all of your contacts with members, guests, employees, and your supervisor, always show responsibility, respect, care, and honesty. Your plans should involve character development.
• Engaging and uplifting groups of up to six individuals or children while providing feedback on stroke techniques and training that is customized to the participants’ level of skill and experience in the water.
• At the end of each lesson, whether the student is taking group or private lessons, they should be given a progress report so that they can be reviewed and coached as needed to improve their water safety and ability to swim according to the company’s standards.
• Provides a structured framework for the participant’s correct growth and development at the appropriate levels, and is responsible for the planning and supervision of private swim sessions.
• Achieve Both the students and their parents are counting on their teacher to show up for all of the scheduled classes throughout the session. As a result, it is critical that no one be absent from class. Any ensconces should be communicated to parents in advance if at all feasible.
• A minimum of 15 minutes early is necessary to set up the area and equipment for swimming activities. Determine when it is time to update swimming materials and equipment by keeping an inventory of what you currently have.

• All aquatics facilities must be kept clean and accessible at all times, and this includes storing and cleaning up all instructional materials and equipment at the end of each shift.

Skills:

• Because of this, the candidate has to have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to engage with participants in a way that is both service-oriented and optimistic.
• Every employee in the company must be able to do all of their duties. Skills and abilities that are required are detailed in the next section .
• This position does not need any educational background. A minimum of one to three months of prior teaching experience in swimming is required. It is essential that the teacher be able to demonstrate the principles being taught in a water-based setting.
• Although a high school certificate is ideal, The age of consent is 16 years old. First Aid/CPR/AED certification must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment, and the applicant must pass a swimming abilities exam.
• Also necessary are two years of experience working as a swim teacher in aquatics and a willingness to transfer information to others in an effective manner that results in positive learning outcomes for students, especially children.
