A creative and motivated corporate controller is needed to join our team. For instance, the Corporate Controller will work closely with Vice President, CAO & Controller to ensure that reported results adhere to generally accepted accounting principles in addition to assisting with monthly and quarterly financial reports, maintaining an accounting system, and a comprehensive set of controls aimed at mitigating risk and improving accuracy of reported financial results.

Qualifications:

• Examine the accounting team’s monthly account reconciliations and analyses that they have produced.
• Monitor and verify compliance with GAAP standards and/or regulatory requirements, including the adoption of any amendments.
• Team leadership is shown via active recruitment and management of personnel, which includes inspiring, coaching, training, and mentoring team members.
• Participate in the development and enhancement of operational and financial reporting.
• Analytical and financial data should be made available to the company’s senior executives in order to help them make decisions.
• Driving efficiency & automation to meet the needs of our diversified company, while leading, assisting, and developing the accounting team.
• Engage in effective dialogue and communication with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including the Accounting team, as well as customers at all levels.
• With your help, create and monitor operating and capital budgets.
• Oversee the timely and accurate completion of all account reconciliations, accrual schedules, and general journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• Make suggestions for changes after analyzing compliance gaps in internal controls.

Skills:

• An experienced business partner has the ability to build trust and motivate colleagues while starting a new company or function in a demanding environment.
• At least three years of experience in the creation or guidance of financial statements, reports on corporate operations, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator capable of communicating complicated topics and risk considerations to stakeholders and influencing decision making.
• Either a bachelor’s degree in a finance-related field, or an equivalent amount of professional experience, or both.
• It took more than three years to design rules, standards, and procedures for various types of internal control.
