Currently, we are seeking a payroll manager. You will be in charge of all billing and payroll-related tasks as the payroll manager. Will be accountable to the Controller and, if necessary, assist in developing the procedures, policies, and financial planning for internal controls. Additionally necessary are excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills in a hectic environment.

  • Ensures the quality and efficiency of all payroll activities and regulatory compliance through the development of internal control mechanisms. Relays company processes to upper management and outlying departments.
  • Correcting pay errors is a necessary step in making sure earnings are accurate. It is important to ensure that any payroll modifications are handled correctly.
  • Organize data and reports for audits, both internal and external, and ensure that the business meets any additional legal and regulatory duties. This involves following all local, state, and federal tax filing and reporting rules.
  • Payroll reports are monitored, off-cycle pay is examined and checks are handled on time by the employee and the payroll supervisor.
  • Reports to the Controller and HR on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Quickly responds to field queries that have escalated.
  • A payroll manager is in charge of ensuring that payroll transactions such as salaries and benefits, as well as tax and other withholdings, are processed on schedule and accurately.
  • The Payroll Manager is in charge of a wide range of general accounting and payroll functions, including recurrent and non-recurring general accounting chores, payroll processing, bonus payouts, and commission or incentive programs.
  • Verifies all payroll changes, such as new hiring or termination and pay rate adjustments are processed on schedule and correctly.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with the HR department on hiring, firing, and leave of absence procedures.
  • Investigates inaccurate information received, establishes the appropriate accounting treatment, and suggests adjustments to the transaction initiator.


  • The ideal applicant has five to ten years of experience in payroll or billing and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of how to develop a nice, cooperative work atmosphere and how to apply a warm customer service concept to all internal employee problems is a prerequisite.
  • Capable of working successfully with top executives and the management team, as well as mentoring and leading a department.
  • This position requires an understanding of federal accounting processes and regulations.
  • Abilities in process improvement, a full awareness of the laws and regulations regulating state and federal bookkeeping and accounting.
