Our Management Accounting department is looking for a highly competent and motivated professional Management Accountant. Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reporting is a primary responsibility of this role, which is exempt from pay. The Director of Financial and Management Accounting is responsible for this salaried exempt post.

Qualifications:

• Support the creation of new reporting formats that enable the operational management teams to swiftly identify the factors that influence financial performance.
• Other responsibilities as necessary These responsibilities may include assignments in job categories other than their own.
• For each product line, a monthly management reporting package contains financial statements (income statement, balance sheet), together with commentary on the underlying causes of performance.
• Quarterly financial reporting consolidation and supplementary schedules, production of schedules and associated documentation to assist external audit procedures.
• Ensuring IFRS compliance in product line financial reporting by working closely with operational management to uncover underlying business challenges.
• For the purpose of collecting and analyzing financial data and recording it in the general ledger accounts.
• Prepare a balance sheet, a profit and loss statement, and other financial reports to describe the present and forecast financial situation of the firm by analyzing financial data describing revenue, costs, assets, and liabilities.
• Document and execute accounting and control mechanisms in concert. Assist your franchisees and workers in implementing industry-specific software accounting methods and practices.
• Attend product line team meetings on a regular basis to stay up to date on the company’s priorities, as well as to build connections with other team members. As needed, gather and present pertinent financial information.
• Upkeep of corresponding financial control procedures and necessary balance sheet account reconciliations.

Skills:

• The ability to work successfully with people of various ages, genders, sexual orientations, national origins, economic levels, ability levels, religious affiliations, races, and languages is only one example of the ability to collaborate with diverse populations.
• Knowing Microsoft Navision (NAV), Dynamics NAV General Ledger, or Onestream would be a huge asset in this position.
• Knowledge with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is necessary. an advantage, is familiarity with SAP and Hyperion Ability to deal with a big and diversified set of internal customers under tight deadlines.
• It is necessary to have one to three years of accounting expertise, with knowledge in cost accounting being desirable.
• Required: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
