Job Description

The Mail Clerk provides operations functions in one or all of the following areas: operates duplicating equipment, performs associated copying tasks, scanning equipment, operate low to mid volume mail processing equipment. Ships and receives product and supplies, sorts, distributes and handles incoming and outgoing mail/faxes, as well as applies necessary postage.

  • Follows the instructions of the proper county managers when it comes to emergency management tasks and participation during a local state of disaster.
  • Other responsibilities include copying, tabbing, folding, labeling, and stuffing envelopes.
  • Assist the manager with the employment process by reviewing resumes, analyzing information, and interviewing top prospects. Ability to outperform in training new staff in all aspects of the Mail Room, Copy Center, and Document Retention.
  • Assist with biweekly payroll deduction reporting Business cash should be reported, managed, and deposited. Being dependable when it comes to handling and depositing business funds.
  • Know and perform all Business Services roles (mail clerk, copy center, and record center). Assist the manager and take on management responsibilities as needed.
  • Supplies, faxes, and mail are delivered to company staff and/or authorized drop-off places as needed.
  • Perform efficiently and accurately the duties related with operating a copy center, such as producing print files, binding, and other finishing requirements. Assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of all corporate copiers. Provide technical support for printing and copying equipment and software basics. Provide technical support for printing and copying equipment and software basics. Work with third-party printer and copier repair specialists to schedule and arrange repairs.
  • For highly regulated products and equipment, stay up to date on the latest export regulations and recommendations. In charge of confirming shipments of regulated goods for the business services team. Plan of action for the investigation Working with FedEx to receive an ITN number and correctly export-controlled material by submitting a FedEx “Export Agent File” documentation.
  • You can excel at customer service by being sensitive to the customer’s specific demands, responding fast, and delivering excellent results.
  • To perform the tasks of the mail office, oversee and assist with all incoming and departing mail and shipments. Including picking up any client requirements, sending paper, and giving toner. Aid in sorting mail received from all shipping companies. Assist the group in accepting and reviewing any incoming shipments.


  • Lift hefty document retention boxes and move up and down the archiving ladder.
  • As a secondary technician contact, you must be familiar with printing and copying software.
  • Must be capable of coordinating and organizing with printer and copier specialists.
  • It is necessary to have excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
  • Must be able and willing to drive to off-site facilities and destinations every day.
