Job Description

For our workplace, we’re looking for a financial consultant. Making acceptable investment and financial planning suggestions to both new and existing customers is the main duty of this position. Mutual funds, fixed and variable annuities, unit trusts, REITs, investment management accounts, and individual stocks are just a few examples of the products that may be suggested. The incumbent will be expected to keep a spotless compliance record and to carry out all tasks in line with the department’s and the bank’s stated rules, procedures, and goals.

  • Complies with monthly and annual performance and productivity targets set by management.
  • Keep up the high quality of service you provided from the very beginning through through the origination process.
  • Manage financial dealings, resolve difficulties, open and close accounts, approve loan applications, and upsell and cross-sell all other products and services to members.
  • Maintains current knowledge of Investor requirements, underwriting standards, processing methods, and corporate rules.
  • interacts with retirement plan participants to provide outstanding customer service and to fulfill their requests for transactions and services.
  • Verify that all of your origination channels are up to par with regards to quality and regulation.
  • Provides tax and investment advice tailored to the individual client’s situation and goals.
  • In charge of meeting the needs of members financially by offering top-notch service, information, and education.
  • Pension plans, tax-deferred annuities, and other investment opportunities are discussed with members to help them preserve and increase their wealth.
  • builds and sustains productive partnerships with institutional plan sponsors.


  • As a department affiliate, you are expected to be proficient in Microsoft Office as well as all internal systems.
  • Exactness in all calculations; care in handling, storage, and weighing of all negotiable items; a sense of equilibrium.
  • At least six months of teller experience is required, and expertise with platform operations is preferable, along with three to five years of experience selling financial goods and services directly to members.
  • Experience with multitasking, sensitive information handling, and problem resolution while offering great service.
  • Capability to learn new information rapidly and share it effectively with coworkers and members.
