Job Description

We want a competent and experienced Accounting Assistant. In this position, you will help with bank reconciliations, journal entry processing, and month-end closure. You may also construct statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables about cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profits, and losses. As an Accounting Assistant, you will verify the correctness and completeness of invoices. Additionally, you will be responsible for a variety of data entry and basic accounting responsibilities, as well as any extra administrative jobs that may occur. As an Accounting Assistant, you must possess a keen attention to detail. In addition, you must be familiar with administrative and clerical processes and systems, such as word processing, keeping files and records, developing forms, and other office operations and terminology.

  • Examine the paperwork from new suppliers and configure the property management software.
  • Using journals, ledgers, or computers, classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to build and maintain financial records.
  • Assist the accounting department with accounting and clerical tasks. Accurately type, create and keep accounting papers and records Prepare bank deposits, posts to the general ledger, and statements.
  • A debit, a credit and a total account may be created on a database or spreadsheet with the help of accounting software.
  • Distribute mail each day, help with vendor identity (ID) coding as necessary, and distribute. Send erroneous invoices to the proper management for approval, with support from other Finance staff.
  • After documenting distribution receipts in accounting software, distribute receipts to all internal entities. Process normal wire transfers for the assigned portfolio; direct support desk inquiries to the relevant departments.
  • Assist with payroll, billing, and accounts receivable in addition to more routine accounting chores.
  • Investigate, monitor, and correct any accounting or paperwork issues or inconsistencies, Inform management, produce summaries and reports on active areas. Function in compliance with the specified guidelines, rules, and legal requirements.
  • Calls from Members about their accounts are answered and returned. Adjustments and payments are made as needed.
  • Bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial documents should be calculated, prepared, and issued in accordance with established processes.


  • Requires a track record of accuracy in arithmetic and the ability to maintain financial records without making any clerical or mathematical mistakes.
  • 3 years or more of relevant experience in accounting and finance, especially with bookkeeping duties.
  • The ability to work well with others, be dependable, and quickly pick up new skills are all critical qualities.
  • To grow our organization, we require an accounting assistant. You will compile data, establish prices, and produce invoices.
  • Accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and accounting data entry knowledge and expertise are required.
