The Digital Designer is in charge of coming up with engaging and on-brand content for digital assets like emails, websites, social media graphics, banner ads, and more. The Digital Designer will be responsible for the management, design, and scheduling of email campaigns, working with our in-house Digital Marketing team and in-house Graphic Design team to create engaging digital and social media campaigns, and collaborating with our e-Commerce team and developers to ensure that aesthetics are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards.

Qualifications:

• Plan and prepare printed content for printing, and then coordinate its printing with the Marketing and Communications Manager for final approval.
• The ability to work well in a team, complete projects on schedule and within budget, pay special attention to detail, and juggle multiple activities and projects simultaneously are all highly desirable.
• Keep up with websites, weblogs, social media, newsletters, periodicals, artwork, graphics, and infographics.
• Having worked as a graphic designer for a living for over four years
• With the help of your cross-functional team, you can create promotional and automated email campaigns, landing pages, banner ads, and social media images.
• Make sure the right logos and pictures are used in all of your internal and external communications. The Marketing & Communications Manager must approve all in-house graphics and any changes to them before they can be used.
• Select the most suitable ways for producing the required visual effects, and suggest equipment and supplies for doing so.
• Put together branding programs and other designs from separate components in accordance with the art director’s specifications.
• Competent in producing factual/instructional content for use in print, online, and social media
• Ability to take creative direction, implement changes, and refine ideas based on input from a wide range of team members.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Hyperion, and SAP, and other PC programs is a plus.
• To be considered for this position, you must be proficient in both Macintosh computers and Adobe Creative Suite (namely, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat).
• Ability to work with a team using online tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or visual arts/communications is preferred. The need for a bachelor’s degree may be waived if the applicant has earned a Master’s degree in visual information and graphics design from a recognized institution, or if they have a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least ten (10) years of professional experience in the field.
• Experience with conceptual illustration, including designing rough layouts of art and copy with regard to arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts; obtaining concept approval by submitting rough layouts for approval; and preparing finished copy and art for production and printing.
