Job Description

We are looking for a person that is dependable enough to keep the accounts payable department working properly. It will be possible for the Accounts Payable Specialist to create an immediate effect by reducing business procedures and rules.

Job Title : Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist
Location : Ras al-Khaimah, Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates
Salary : $ 34.54 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • All bills for accounts payable that need to be paid should be entered into the system.
  • Provides suppliers and staff members with phone and email support for questions regarding payments and codes.
  • Assistance with all month-end processing and inquiries for AP and AR (some additional hours may be necessary).
  • Reviewing, sorting and matching invoice and check requests prior to payment.
  • Organizes and processes invoices, expenditure reports, and check requests for the company’s accounts payable.
  • When cash is tight, analyze vendor accounts and negotiate longer terms with vendors.
  • Complete duties as required to meet weekly and monthly departmental deadlines.
  • Interacts with other departments to accomplish daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Keep all files relating to accounts payable current, and print all reports regarding payments.
  • Examine expenditure records and credit cards for accuracy and compliance with business rules.

Skills:

  • Accomplished in the organization, publishing, and management of financial data and records.
  • In a high-volume, fast-paced environment, the ability to multitask while ensuring accuracy and timeliness is a must.
  • Thorough understanding of standard bookkeeping processes and accounts payable.
  • Time restrictions necessitate the ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks.
  • Ability to complete pivot tables and vlookups is desirable. Strong Microsoft Excel competence.
