To achieve good customer service, a competent Shift Manager will limit labor expenditures according to the average-hourly report and maintain proper staffing. You’ll guarantee that the restaurant runs smoothly and that production, productivity, quality, and customer service requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• As ordered by the company’s owners, correctly complete all documentation related to daily, weekly, and period-ending operations.
• Keep restaurant equipment in good working order. Manage financial duties with honesty and carry out activities related to cost-cutting objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations while following to all business rules and procedures. Extensive understanding of menu items and their preparation.
• Manages supplies and assures workplace order Manages and mentors personnel, including handling problems of discipline/termination and providing continual training/education, among other responsibilities.
• Provide a workplace that complies with government requirements, is safe, secure, and free of harassment and discrimination.
• Make sure your staff is surpassing the expectations of each visitor by delegating roles and monitoring their performance. Develops expertise in all aspects of the restaurant.
• Supervises food production in accordance with cleanliness and quality standards Ensures that work environments are clean and that all equipment, tools, and supplies are kept appropriately.
• Achieve the restaurant’s Annual Operating Plan by ensuring a clean, organized restaurant that is ready to give great product and service everyday.
• After-hours deposit was handled in an appropriate way. You’ll need to be able to work successfully as a team with your general manager and assistant manager.
• Manage employees, suppliers, and clients with professionalism and inspiration. You have a “high five” mindset one hundred percent of the time. Ensure that customer service is consistently outstanding.

Skills:

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities to keep teammates updated. Weekend and holiday work
• A high school graduation and at least one year of restaurant experience are required. Financial responsibility is desirable, Knowledge and skill in facilitating the growth and development of other people
• The candidate must have at least two (2) years of food service management experience, with at least one (1) year of management experience in a restaurant.
• Do what you like, not what is expected of you, and arrive early and stay late when it suits your schedule. Make sure you can demonstrate your organizational and business skills by looking at your previous work history.
• It is crucial that you be an independent thinker who tackles challenges with a positive, can-do attitude and a concentration on completing tasks successfully.
