Qualifications:

• Assist the Customs Brokerage and Customs Entry Writer teams in keeping all necessary information up to current and accessible.
• Make sure the portable terminals are kept in good condition, are completely charged, and are prepared for timely updates and downloads (RF environment).
• Ensure that all receiving data entry is completed on time to allow picking documentation to be prepared.
• Make necessary modifications to shipments using the core operating system of the firm.
• Manage shipments as they go through the worldwide supply chain by keeping tabs on their whereabouts.
• Take prompt and careful care of all electronic documents.
• Make sure the right people get the right data and forms when they need them.
• Make that the drivers’ packing lists reflect any adjustments made at out-loading that were not included in the shipment paperwork.
• An electronic document management system should be able to recognize, classify, and index the papers.
• Prepare and organize all picking documents in accordance with the operational procedure.

Skills:

• Essential skills include the ability to read and do simple math.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts as determined by business needs.
• Working knowledge of numerous typical business tools, including a personal computer, a calculator, and other devices.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities for dealing effectively with others, as well as the capacity to adapt in a changing work environment.
• The ability to demonstrate multicultural competence, which is defined as the awareness, knowledge, and talents required to communicate meaningfully, pertinently, and fruitfully with people from diverse cultural origins.
