Qualifications:

• In order to fill vacancies or meet production needs, fill in anywhere in the department depending on individual talent and ability. Complete/conduct job-related training as required.
• Make sure you’re watching the machinery at work. Troubleshoot any issues that are found and either fix them on-site or call in production management or maintenance for more significant ones.
• Conduct tests on finished work (both in-process and final items) to look for flaws in the product and to ensure that it complies with the standards. As required, load items into boxes and then seal them.
• Mark staged items and final shipments with lot numbers, storage locations, or shipping destinations. The machine’s temperature, speed, and flow may all be adjusted.
• Utilize material handling equipment and overhead gantries to load raw material rolls into the machine. Establishes splices to guarantee maximum uptime and lowest manufacturing process disturbance. Load glue melters with hot melt ingredients while wearing appropriate protection gear (PPE).
• Monitor and record the manufacturing and packaging lines’ safety, quality, and production standards. Checks for issues such as traffic bottlenecks, pileups, and quality requirements.
• Perform operations on converting and packing machines in order to make items that meet the most stringent quality and productivity requirements. Achieve all of the targeted levels of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Splice elastic threads together. Clean the mill house and SAP applicators on a daily basis. – Maintains a clean and organized work area by disposing of waste products and raw material packing.
• Set up (assembles and disassembles), operate, adjust and clean equipment to make nutritional supplements, food items and finished goods in accordance with quality, GMP, safety and sanitation requirements.
• Sort items for packaging or filling machines. Also restocks paper rolls, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, and labels.

Skills:

• Minimum qualification is a high school education or GED. Qualified applicants will have 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production environment with mechanical understanding of industrial systems.
• Machine operating experience in a manufacturing setting is preferable but not essential. Good human relations and verbal communication skills are needed.
• knowledge of machine-setting procedures, both written and spoken Being punctual, being on time, and having the ability to stay in the work area are all ways to demonstrate your reliability.
• Must be able to work a rotating/flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime (covering all shift schedules), Must be able to both adhere to and promote safety standards and procedures.
• You’ll need to have the ability to operate in hot or cold conditions with high noise levels and be exposed to various chemical and oil mixtures.
