A certified Industrial Electrician is required. The skilled trades Industrial Electrician is responsible for the designing, installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of intricate electrical equipment and circuits, as well as troubleshooting and technical knowledge on control systems, while working under minimum supervision.

Qualifications:

• Complies with established job safety practices, rules, and procedures, as described in plant and corporate directives, for the safe completion of the assigned task, in accordance with the food safety system’s criteria. This involves creating and evaluating standard operating procedures (SOPs) as specified for the area of responsibility.
• Uses, distributes, and manages hazardous and nonhazardous commodities and wastes in accordance with environmental rules. Recognizes waste streams and limits waste creation by judicious use of resources, effective disposal, and segregation, as instructed during training or by the EC, EFP/EM. Comprehends and complies with trash accumulation and storage rules.
• Monday through Sunday, work a set schedule of 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights. Regular overtime and/or on-call labor may be required.
• Finds inefficient processes and potential electrical problems and designs ways to fix them, then works with a supervisor to get them put into place.
• Installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of high-speed industrial operations like producing cans and/or ends necessitates the use of high-tech equipment. Electricity from 24 to 600 volts, as well as all automation control systems, transducers, proximity sensors, and inspection devices, are all included.
• Engineers employ field measurements to establish the underlying cause of issues and repair them using pre-programmed logic controls (PLC). Line control programming assures efficient equipment operation, and proactive ideas for improving line performance are part of the job description.
• To make sure communication and documentation work well, hold switch-over meetings to update wiring diagrams (on paper and in ACAD), computer program change forms (on paper or in Microsoft Office formats), and so on.
• As a condition of employment, this person must adhere to all company policies and procedures in his or her area of responsibility, including those pertaining to safety, the environment, confidentiality, and the company’s code of conduct.

• All corporate sites (repairs, inspections, and adjustments) should have PM and work orders completed as they emerge, and maintenance employees should be consulted as required.

Skills:

• Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  INSERT INTO `wp_randomize` (`randomize_id`, `category`, `text`, `visible`, `user_id`, `timestamp`) VALUES or a mix of education and experience. PLC programming, electrical circuits, schematics, servo motors, and knowledge with 460/220 3 PH wiring are among the proficient electrical abilities required.
• Capable of reading and interpreting documentation such as safety guidelines, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Capability to compose standard reports and communication. Capability to communicate successfully with groups or organization personnel.
• Understanding of all common measurement units and the ability to do basic math operations with whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Calculation of rates, ratios, and percentages, along with drawing bar graphs.
