Job Description
At this time, we are looking to hire an administrative director. To be successful in this position, you will need to be able to work independently, but you will also be expected to work closely with other members of the management team. Managing the firm’s strategic and administrative operations, as well as implementing firm initiatives, are all responsibilities of this role. It’s your job to oversee all of the office’s support and administrative workers, as well as the facilities and space planning and management that goes along with it. Serve as the primary point of contact for human resources concerns and provide advice to administrative and legal employees on workplace policy and morale. Among the many responsibilities that go under the umbrella of finance are such things as financial planning, budgeting, billing, and timekeeping. The Director of Administration plays a key role in all architectural projects and regularly contacts with peers around the world. It’s essential that applicants have a track record of working both independently and collaboratively. Customers expect a high level of customer care and the ability to clearly communicate their needs.

Qualifications:
- Create and implement short- and long-term organizational plans in your areas of responsibility to improve office operational efficiency. Assess support functions frequently, then tweak processes and procedures as necessary.
- Involved with strategic and tactical planning and analysis for the company.
- Assist the COO and other firm leadership, including Office Heads, as a business partner and valued advisor.
- Maintains oversight of a number of administrative managers who are each responsible for a certain group of office workers.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with subordinates by assessing and resolving issues relating to team dynamics, morale, productivity, training, and performance.
- Analyze and assess opportunities and issues with office operations, as well as market and competitive conditions, on a regular basis.
- Develop standardized best practices for local service and support across the business by leading and managing the firm’s managers, facilities, and administration. Set goals, offer opportunities for development, and oversee projects to act as a coach, mentor, and role model for direct reports.
- Cohesion builder to ensure that all offices are providing consistent high-quality customer service while adhering to industry best practices.
- In consultation with key stakeholders, prepare and manage the firm’s annual office operations budget, including approval and management of costs.
- New company rules and procedures are developed and implemented by this employee.
Skills:
- It is essential to have strong verbal and written communication skills, the capacity to handle conflict, and the ability to operate in a challenging, hectic environment.
- Result-driven project management skills from conception to completion have been proven.
- This position demands excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities because it manages and supports a large team of managers and administrators.
- At least four or six years of steadily increasing responsibility in higher education, administrative management, business operations, or a related field, are necessary for the position to be considered for opening.
- Ability to keep and monitor budgets, analyze financial data, and report deviations as necessary.
