The Data Quality Analyst will offer quality assurance supervision (data error detection and repair) on business operations where data is gathered, stored, processed, or used. As a member of the team, you will be tasked with assuring and monitoring the final quality of our internal data stores and flows by assisting in the integration of data assets from various systems and sources (both internal and external). Because of your expertise in data analysis, you’ll be able to verify that analytic tools and application code can operate on clean data, keeping our high standards for goods and services.

Qualifications:

• Establishes and records business processes in order to identify opportunities for automation or other improvements to present practices. Reduces corporate processes to their fundamental functions.

• The data are analyzed by a quality analyst to determine whether or not they adhere to the design specification (source to target), as well as whether or not they exhibit the expected or predicted behaviors.
• Participation in cross-functional teams, development/improvement task forces, and helping to make quality edit checks, test plans, and other things is required.
• By encouraging effective procedures and supporting best practices, it assists in the education of study team members on the protocol-specific data entry needs.
• Reporting on contact data and attributes must be reviewed on a regular basis. Collaborate with other analysts and teams to analyses the quality of the data. Standard and company-proprietary techniques of analysis should both be included in the analysis approach.
• Establish Service Level Agreements of external data assets with the outsourcing provider, then monitor those agreements and report on their performance in relation to quality assurance and production performance.
• Provides user help and education, troubleshoots difficulties, and encourages the integration of specialized departmental data collecting systems with other computer systems (e.g. databases and spreadsheets).
• Communicate the pervasiveness of data quality issues and their possible consequences, and take the initiative to resolve these issues via data integration and/or business process improvement.
• Work with subject matter experts to gather metadata about systems, processes, reports, controls, data migration, and business terminology.

Skills:

• A minimum of two years of professional experience using data analysis in a commercial context is required, with a high priority given to those with expertise in direct and/or digital marketing. A strong advantage is having previous experience working with cooperative databases, circulation planning, advertising agencies, or brokers.
• Knowledge and experience with research techniques and data warehouses, as well as statistical and data analysis, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability are also required.
• Prior experience in a physician’s office, including with electronic medical information and patients, is strongly recommended. The ability to plan ahead, pay close attention to detail, be analytical, and exercise critical thinking are all requirements.
• A bachelor’s degree in business or a quantitative field (Business Data Analytics, Data Analysis, Statistics, Economics, Mathematical, etc.) or equivalent work experience is required.
• Knowledge of quantitative concepts and the capacity to use them in the business environment, in order to identify and create quantitative solutions to business problems (key measures, reporting, analysis, etc.).
