The Data Quality Analyst is in charge of creating and delivering data solutions that help the company meet its technological and commercial objectives. Data governance duties connected with the integration, cleansing, transformation, and management of data in operational and analytical data systems are among the most important roles. They collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Software Engineers to support data governance efforts such as capturing and managing control inventory, measuring control effectiveness, managing data quality requirements to resolve DQ gaps/issues, and managing all forms of business, technical, and operational metadata.

Qualifications:

  • Regular review of routine contact and attribute reports. Assess the quality of the data in collaboration with other analysts and teams. Analytical methods, both common and uncommon, should be used.
  • Communicate data quality concerns’ pervasiveness and possible implications, then lead efforts to resolve them via data integration and/or business process improvement.
  • A quality analyst reviews data for conformance with the design specification (source to target) as well as expected/anticipated behaviors, and offers fixes.
  • Capture metadata on systems, processes, reports, controls, data mobility, and business terminology with technical and operational specialists.
  • Assists in the teaching of study team members on protocol-specific data entry needs and encourages best practices.
  • Systems integrator that works with other departments to fix problems, educates users, and helps systems work together (e.g. databases and spreadsheets).
  • Outsourced data assets are subject to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that govern how they are managed and reported on.
  • Participation in cross-functional teams, development/improvement task forces, and aid with quality edit checks, test plans, and other tasks are all expected.
  • Business processes are reduced to essential functions, and procedures are created and documented in order to find possibilities to automate and/or enhance an existing process.

Skills:

  • Quantitative savvy combined with the capacity to apply these concepts within the context of the business world, including the ability to identify pertinent business difficulties and generate quantitative responses (key measures, reporting, analysis, etc.).
  • Knowledge of research methodologies, statistical or data analysis, as well as excellent analytical/problem-solving and decision-making abilities; Data Warehouse knowledge/experience.
  • 2+ years of experience implementing data analysis in a company context, with a strong preference for direct and/or digital marketing expertise. A bonus is experience with cooperative databases, circulation planning, advertising agencies, or brokers.
  • Either a bachelor’s degree in business or a quantitative field (such as business data analytics, data analysis, statistics, economics, mathematical, etc.) or relevant work experience is required.
  • Preferred but not required: experience interacting with patients and working with electronic medical records in a physician’s office. Must be able to provide evidence of outstanding organizational abilities, strong analytic skills, and critical thinking.
