In order to further our company’s goals, we are seeking a driven individual to fill the role of Social Media Director. The ideal candidate is someone who can get things done without being told what to do, who is realistic and pragmatic, and who works hard and provides a good example for others. Media directors, with a focus on paid social and performance marketing, should be experts at the full spectrum of media channels relevant to the client’s business KPIs, from planning and buying to executing and evaluating.

  • Take charge of client relations for advertising agencies, as well as client management for services related to digital media.
  • Lead acquisition/performance campaign strategy, planning, launch, optimization, and performance measurement across digital channels from start to finish.
  • Share your research with the rest of the acquisition team and the top marketers in the company. Maintain a steady cycle of analysis and enhancement of the channel’s performance to guarantee that it always lives up to or exceeds targets.
  • Actively test and track campaign traffic, delivery, and activity to get insights from analytics and recommendations for campaign enhancements.
  • Manage annual budgeting as well as monthly, weekly, and daily forecasting and reporting for channel-level traffic, revenue, expenditure, return on investment, and other performance key performance indicators.
  • Contribute to the team’s achievement by checking that high quality standards are met and applied to client projects in a timely manner.
  • Manage the creation of digital advertising campaigns (with a special emphasis on paid social) and direct the rollout of any associated engagement campaigns or other efforts that aim to forge lasting, mutually beneficial bonds with customers.
  • Engage senior client executives in conversation to coordinate critical agency resources to meet client needs and expand the client’s business.
  • Produce innovative ideas and openings to guarantee the success of client initiatives.
  • Don’t let your efforts to improve stagnate; instead, use techniques like A/B testing, consumer segmentation, team brainstorming, and landing page optimization to keep moving forward.


  • track record of success pitching new business to existing and potential customers.
  • Competence in developing and implementing multi-faceted strategies for paid social media marketing.
  • proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as a track record of being able to pick up and master new productivity tools.
  • leadership skills, especially with regards to conducting quarterly business reviews and leading presentations to clients, either in person or over the phone.
  • Having at least five years’ experience in the media industry, ideally at an agency
