Job Description

The production assistant will support the editorial studio team both on and off-set, including during on- and off-site photo shoots. The production assistant helps the styling team, sets up samples, gathers items, transports them to the set, and constructs samples that need to be put together.

Qualifications:

• assisting with the movement of actual products throughout the studio.
• Assist with the tidiness of the dressing rooms and the rooms containing the props.
• Accept additional responsibilities when they come up so that you can learn as much as possible about the department and the pipeline.
• makes use of relevant social media to obtain information and interact with target audience (as required and assigned).
• Develops and executes the visual style of a production by composing and framing shots to get the desired effect.
• drafts host copy under editorial supervision, including but not limited to scripts, billboards, tape and copy elements, and connective copy between elements.
• Cleaning, painting, and repairing miniature props, picture settings, furniture, and walls is essential for optimal maintenance.
• Assembly and styling of toys, furniture, home decor, clothing, activities, educational materials, video games, and handmade goods for product photography.
• Adjusts camera locations and controls to modify focus, exposure, and lighting as directed by the director.
• Leadership team meeting to address the logistics of prop storage and placement. keeping track of the props stock and alerting the higher ups when more are needed.

Skills:

• Proficient use of digital media, especially social media, for gathering information, engaging an audience, and conducting research.
• Possibility of starting, planning, and producing program material on one’s own without much supervision for series or other long-term undertakings.
• shown command of the conventions of broadcast media writing, with special attention on correct language and punctuation, as well as clarity and economy of style.
• ability to use all of the office’s technological gadgets with ease.
• the capacity to handle numerous jobs at once while setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
