We’re seeking for a tax accountant who will be in charge of preparing federal and state tax returns. This role prepares federal and state income tax returns as an individual contributor.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma is needed.
• Experience with computerized accounting and tax applications is required.
• To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old.
• You should be able to go from one location to another in an office setting.
• In a fast-paced, dynamic environment, be able to produce high-quality outcomes.
• Keep track of deadlines and deliveries for clients.
• It is necessary to have prior experience with business tax return workpapers and forms.
• Working in a tax or accounting position for 2–5 years is needed.
• Ability to train younger employees.
• Should be able to multitask and be organized.

Skills:

• At the intermediate level, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• When dealing with sensitive information, act with honesty and discretion.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, as well as interpersonally, are essential.
• The candidate should be responsible and self-motivated, with a high attention to detail.
• It’s important to be able to solve problems and assess data.
