Job Description

The duties of a sales support specialist include helping the sales team on a daily basis. Managing the operational aspects of sales meetings and activities, including analyzing and reporting sales statistics, communicating changes to sales plans, sharing information about clients and competitors, and distributing price data. When sales and marketing work together, they may be more successful by clearly conveying sales initiatives, evaluating and completing marketing request forms, and providing accurate information and support.

  • To negotiate special pricing and incentive programs, stay in touch with and manage all of your biggest industrial and hardware clients.
  • Handle and direct the customer relationship management system for all sales leads generated from trade fairs and other end users.
  • Complete monthly and quarterly sales opportunity reports, then look through any alterations.
  • Organize all contact with important hardware and industrial accounts before and after the exhibition.
  • Assist the Hardware and Industrial Key Accounts MRFs in communicating with the Marketing Department.
  • Take part in sales team meetings to help define targets, formulate plans, and implement changes.
  • To describe the characteristics and advantages of our goods, you should be familiar with our current product lines.
  • Inform everyone about the company’s sales policies and practices.
  • Distribute weekly and monthly updates to sales staff on the development of hardware, industrial, and consumer-facing projects.
  • Work with the trade show and sales managers to plan show orders for Hardware and Industrial Key accounts.


  • Experience providing assistance to salespeople; three to five years’ minimum required.
  • capable of using the Internet, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • a minimum of two years’ worth of experience working in sales, estimating, order entry, or engineering in a manufacturing setting
  • pays close attention to customer needs and handles sensitive information with extreme discretion and confidentiality.
  • Superior skills in planning, coordinating, communicating, and writing.
