Job Description

Part-time Social Media Assistant helps create interesting content for the Company’s social media. The ideal applicant is creative, self-motivated, and experienced with Photoshop and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Assist with the day-to-day monitoring and optimization of social advertising campaigns by computing engagement data and putting together reports on the outcomes on a weekly and monthly basis for a variety of different clients.
  • In each division, teach new social media platforms to the customer’s social media practitioners. For specialized missions and other outreach efforts, content for the transmission of regional and policy initiatives will be generated.
  • Sponsorships, ticket sales, and marketing & promotions should all be highlighted on the team’s own social media channels. Work on community connections and non-baseball sponsorship in addition to baseball.
  • Two of the most important skills for this job are being able to work well in a group and being on top of things. For this job, you need to be able to organize things and get along with other people.
  • Execute social material, from writing and design through posting and follow-up interaction directly with client teams, as well as aiding in the development of social content.
  • Scheduled content is used to produce a steady flow of fresh information for audience engagement while evaluating, controlling and adjusting schedules when appropriate to maximize visits.
  • Identify important messaging or value propositions, provide strategic suggestions or provide guidance on specified efforts, and then convey your findings to the rest of the team.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of content calendars, including key themes, daily content, industry events, and other hot subjects.
  • Make use of your knowledge of audience demographics to come up with fresh ways to get the word out about your business on the most popular social media networks.
  • Creating and managing social media accounts on multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Houzz, etc.) includes copywriting, uploading, reporting, and replying to fans.

Skills:

  • To reach business goals, you need to be able to come up with creative social media strategies and use new, interesting marketing methods that appeal to a wide audience.
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms and reporting tools, graphic design software, and SEO basics. Including knowing how to use APIs and applications on Facebook. A plus is if you have experience promoting videos.
  • Successful administration of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram groups and campaigns. Experience with a retail or lifestyle brand is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the social media ecosystem, including how sponsored, earned and owned social media all interact to educate, involve, and amplify one another is essential.
  • Social media proficiency, including a grasp of metrics, This person must be able to develop dashboard reports that incorporate insights and suggestions on a monthly basis. Strong writing and proofreading abilities are required; perfect spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
