Job Description

It is the major responsibility of this position to help the Merchant and the Online Merchant in implementing the go-to-market strategy and to assist with merchandising operations in order to achieve operational excellence in the divisions. This person is in charge of carrying out decisions made by merchants and online retailers, including but not limited to setting up vendors, setting up new products, entering costs and approving planograms. They also make decisions about stocking and not stocking products, as well as deciding how to sort products on the internet, and making sure that their assigned categories’ online content/presence is accurate. All internal merchandising operations, including Marketing, Online Merchandising, Supply Chain, Accounting and Pricing, are represented by the MS.

  • Based on the outcomes of your hypothesis and key performance metrics from the A/B tests run on the site, provide recommendations for the next steps to be taken.
  • Support for creating catalog attribute structure and the procedure for obtaining important product information from the supplier base both retrospectively and proactively.
  • help in the production of data-based suggestions for content performance, ideas and enhancement. The best way to increase sales is to analyze your product’s history and current sales performance.
  • Partner with colleagues in Category Management, Product Management, User Experience, Brand, and Marketing to bring successful collaborative projects to conclusion and provide a consistent customer experience across all contact points.
  • Analyze the shopping experience and come up with ideas for how to improve customer engagement, revenue, and conversion.
  • Cooperate closely with outside agencies in order to brief on strategy and needs and to offer constructive, directed input that will lead to the greatest creative output that is in line with the brand and the plan.
  • Keeping up with the latest innovations in digital content creation can help you remain ahead of the game (such as new channels and technology).
  • Assist in the development of both above- and below-the-fold content in collaboration with the Brand, Creative, and other outside agencies. Collaboration with Brand on content, new product releases, and seasonal portfolio adjustments is part of this.
  • Once the taxonomy and categorization plan has been defined, it should be implemented across owned and retailer channels based on consumer behavior and category data.
  • To ensure that our brand’s message is consistent no matter where our customers contact us, we must work with both internal and external partners to develop and maintain channel-specific content standards.
