The senior financial analyst is the first line of financial defense for the category’s upper management, with whom they collaborate to boost profits and market share through strategic short- and long-term planning and ultimately, elevate the category’s brand. Financial planning and tracking for a category are the responsibility of this individual, who works closely with the Senior Director and Category Management teams from a product and account perspective. Create and implement financial analytics to back up reporting, market analysis, special projects, forecasting, and other sales-related KPIs. Provide fiscal advice to influence tactical and strategic decisions. Help upper management and interdisciplinary teams plan financially for the future.

Qualifications:

• You will be responsible for developing and owning the wholesale channel-focused, long-term revenue, margin, and volume projection for the assigned Company each month.
• independently evaluate business opportunities and hazards in order to ascertain financial ramifications, and then report results to upper management.
• Formulate and update a product portfolio’s financial analysis in collaboration with Category Management groups and other key stakeholders.
• assembles monthly projections that are accurate and timely. synchronizes with sales partners to accurately depict risk and opportunity.
• Improve existing standards by offering input of your own.
• Put in extra effort to collaborate with other channel partners and incorporate their suggestions so that you may deliver a comprehensive prediction report to the stakeholders at the global headquarters.
• helps both financial and non-financial managers make better decisions by providing them with high-quality data and analysis
• Coordinates with the Senior Finance Manager in setting priorities and creating a budget for the designated Sales Office or Key Account.
• Make use of seasonal benchmarks in the market to guide your strategy and inform your financial planning.
• Create weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc analyses for assigned Business Unit on key KPI’s.

Skills:

• proficiency in analyzing product sales and/or finances (i.e. pricing, costing, market share, sell-through).
• shown analytical abilities, familiarity with accounting and/or finance principles, and a solid grasp of and background in retail math and financial drivers.
• Ability to convey information clearly and respond to questions from coworkers, customers, managers, stakeholders, and potential customers.
• Possess excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask well.
• a demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments, integrate data from several sources, and generate novel approaches to business problems.
