Job Description

Among the responsibilities of the Business Development Analyst include managing multiple sales systems and processes, conducting competitive studies, preparing sales presentations, and executing essential operational and customer-facing tasks, such as price modeling and energy performance modeling.   • To assist in monitoring and managing opportunities, prospective partners, and other business development activities via the use of knowledge management tools.
  • Sharing knowledge and creating value across departments by working with other analysts and business development partners.
  • Keep a database updated with historical data for strategic planning; analyze data and produce reports for upper management.
  • Drafting messages, making materials for presentations, taking notes at meetings, and writing up findings. Suggesting and putting into place new improvements or procedures within own job function.
  • Contributing to the management of pipelines inside Salesforce, Developing connections both inside the company and with outside parties, as well as working closely with Strategic Account Executives from other departments.
  • To find new possibilities, work with the customer support staff to create, monitor, and update relevant search criteria.
  • Developing a comprehensive grasp of the company’s capabilities, the competitive environment, and the market in order to guide business development activities, Developing a broad grasp of our customers and their missions, with a particular emphasis on our most important clients.
  • Assist transaction leads in the U.S. utility-scale solar sector by developing comparative technology assessments, financial models, and technical sales presentations for client engagement and relationship growth.
  • Collaborate with the relevant client services teams to design pursue strategies and maintain tools, templates, artifacts, and other items for quick response to contract vehicles.
  • Business landscape status reports for important customers are provided by analyzing competitive industry trends and conducting business intelligence.


  • Strong familiarity and ability to use Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and Access, as well as PowerPoint. Excellent communication abilities both orally and in writing, as well as with other people, Capability to engage in self-directed labor in high-pressure environments
  • Understanding of the workings of the government system, compliance criteria, and meeting critical deadlines and deliverables.
  • Bachelor degree in a technical or analytical subject (Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, etc.), Technical or commercial B2B sales account assistance is a bonus.
  • How to manage difficult events, such as managing various tasks and prioritizing client requests and delivery deadlines as well as dealing to crisis situations.
