Assembler is a manufacturing worker who routinely assembles products according to predetermined procedures. Perform assembly tasks while being supervised by a more experienced assembler, team leader, or engineer.

Qualifications:

• Mechanically joins, solders, or welds wires and cables in line with established standards to ensure that components, wires, and cables can be removed and replaced without difficulty.
• Facilitates the assembly of complete microelectronic circuits for use in flying, development, and prototype applications by setting up and operating a variety of devices under the direction of engineers.
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics as well as the capacity to identify all circuit symbols, wire codes, and electrical components are essential for this role.
• Installing screws using pneumatic equipment and placing brackets, gaskets, and silicone as directed by a trainer or work instructions.
• Microminiature circuits are created and put together using ultrasonic and parallel gap microwelding, as well as microsoldering, in addition to specialised resins.
• Puts together subassemblies, assemblies, and complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment to put together produced parts, components, and electrical and electronic systems.
• Pre-drilled chassis and printed circuit boards allow for flexible assembly of a wide range of research electronics, from radar synchronizers and computers to roll servo units.
• Locates and selects appropriate electrical components using color coding, coded labels, or other important identifying criteria from schematic wiring designs. The need arises to specify the terminal connections for a component.
• Some of the jobs that can be performed by these machines include cutting, punching, and shaping, and they are operated by following standard procedures for conventional machines and/or CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment.
• Prototype electronic subsystems, subunits, assemblies, components, wire harnesses, and cables must be assembled and replaced.

Skills:

• Expert in resolving problems by employing tried and true method
• Use a variety of tools, including verbal and written directions (in English), a list of necessary items, a map of the route to be taken, and so on.
• A high school diploma or its equivalent is usually required by employers these days.
• Successful completion of a mandatory 3-day training program is a prerequisite for moving forward with the hiring process (if performance level not met during the training, contractor will be released)
• Possess competence with a wide range of hand tools, pneumatic hand tools, a rivet machine, an electric stapler, a drill press, a heat staking machine, wire strippers, and more.
