The General Accountant must be familiar with an organization’s divisions and departments, as well as international intercompany operations.

Qualifications:

• Using the internet, process vendor payments weekly.
• The grant management function is enhanced by monthly billing and monitoring of grant revenue and spending.
• It is important to have previous experience with ERP systems, notably Oracle.
• Cost-cutting standards used by the federal and state governments.
• General ledger modifications and account reconciliations.
• Create and maintain productive relationships with Club staff, Development staff, service providers, and vendors.
• To ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements, daily recording methods, month-end closing, and the implementation of adequate internal controls are all required.
• It’s vital to have at least 3-5 years of experience in accounting.
• It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, or equivalent job experience.
• Paylocity is a software package for analyzing and processing bi-weekly payroll.

Skills:

• Good communication, writing, and presentation skills are required.
• Ability to meet a variety of deadlines and prioritize a large number of jobs.
• Ability to collaborate with people on-site and independently, as well as across time zones.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities are required of the applicant.
• It’s critical to have strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications.
