Job Description

The Program Administrator’s primary responsibilities will be to support the Program Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring the rollout of the university’s new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

Qualifications:

  • writes or supervises the writing of a variety of business documents, such as private form submissions, memoranda, reports, and emails. examines again and posts signage where necessary.
  • Facilitate the program’s management in all its parts by coordinating with instructors, other departments, and affiliated institutions.
  • produces program operational and administrative guidelines and puts them into effect. Oversees the implementation of program guidelines, including policy interpretation, communication, and the recommendation or approval of any necessary policy deviations.
  • ensuring that each department involved in a program collaborates with the others to achieve its goals (human resources, financial services, student services, etc.)
  • Facilitates contract and finance management. Maintains accounting records, compiles reports, and submits them as required. Manages contacts with officers at funding agencies and university contract administrators to resolve inquiries, address concerns, and schedule on-campus visits.
  • oversees the department’s PR initiatives, including meetings, seminars, and other events. Negotiates terms with service providers for use of facilities, provision of services, provision of amenities, provision of guest lodging, etc. prepares and/or disseminates promotional materials.
  • Collects information and does research for department reports. Helps keep information secure by performing preliminary evaluations. Offers advice on how to organize and display the findings in the report.
  • produces and oversees program budgets, and makes recommendations for or final decisions on resource and monetary allocation. Gives out financial reports when asked for them.

Skills:

  • You should have at least three years of experience in the field.
  • You need a bachelor’s degree, or you can substitute four years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability with computers, particularly Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat for PDF creation and editing, and online meeting tools like Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
  • demonstrated expertise in administration, finance, and budget oversight.
  • Ability to work well with others, a positive outlook on teamwork, and strong organizational and project management skills.
