Problem solving, repairing, and maintaining equipment are the responsibilities of the Industrial Electrician role. The majority of the effort will be devoted to fixing and improving workplace safety problems. Work in conjunction with safety measures and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Collaborate with your supervisor to determine areas of probable electrical concern and inefficiency, and then implement adjustments to the process depending on what you learn from the investigation.
• High-speed industrial operations need the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment for the manufacture of cans and/or ends, as well as power, lighting, control, and PLC logic controls. All automated control systems (VFDs), transducers, proximity sensors, and inspection devices are covered, as well as voltages ranging from 24 to 600 volts.
• In the department, division, group, and company: Establishes and maintains excellent working connections. Includes the capacity to deal with stress and engage with people in order to create and maintain a healthy and productive work environment and reduce personal disputes.
• Compliance with all corporate rules and procedures, including, but not limited to, safety, environmental, confidentiality, and code of conduct. Responsible for managing the RMGC Environmental Health and Safety Management system in his or her areas of responsibility.
• Follow established job safety practices, rules, and procedures in compliance with food safety regulations, as specified in plant and corporate instructions for safe execution of the work assignment. SOPs (standard operating procedures) for the area of responsibility will be defined and revised as needed.
• Work a predetermined schedule of 12-hour shifts, alternating days and nights, Monday through Sunday, with flexible hours as defined by management. The incumbent must be able to regularly work overtime and/or be on call as instructed by management.
• Whenever repairs, checks, or adjustments are needed, use maintenance staff to assist you complete PMs and work orders at all of your locations.
• Utilizing field measurements and programmable logic control software, identifies and corrects problem reasons. Ensures effective equipment operation via correct line control programming and proactively recommends ways to enhance line performance.
• To guarantee effective communication and documentation, update wiring schematics (paper and ACAD), computer program change forms (whether retained on paper or in Microsoft Office formats), and shift turn over meetings.
• Environmental standards must be adhered to while using, distributing, or handling potentially hazardous or non-hazardous goods and wastes. Acquainted with a wide range of potential waste streams and how they may be reduced or eliminated via the right use of resources and effective disposal and segregation. Wastes are accumulated and stored in a manner that is both safe and efficient.

Skills:

• Ability to address practical issues and work with a range of tangible factors in settings where standardization is only to a limited extent available. Capability to decipher a range of directions presented verbally, in writing, and/or in diagram or schedule form.
• Understanding of all common measurement units and the ability to do basic math operations with whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Calculation of rates, ratios, and percentages, along with drawing bar graphs.
• High school graduation or GED and 5 years of relevant experience required, or education and experience combined. Electrical skills: PLC programming, circuits, schematics, servo motors, 460/220 3 PH wiring.
• Be careful of your own safety at all times. It is the responsibility of the employee to recognize what activities might have harmful consequences and to take the required procedures to accomplish each task safely.
• The ability to read and understand documentation such as safety standards, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. To compose regular reports and letters is a necessary ability. The ability to communicate clearly and successfully with a variety of people inside the company.
