To create innovative IoT-enabled products, you will collaborate with a small team of device software developers as an embedded software engineer. You should be a hands-on tech lead with expertise managing small teams that thrive in a dynamic, quick-paced, agile workplace and create software that is high quality, high performance, and scalable. You will be required to split your time evenly between design, practical development, and mentoring other developers inside the company. You must to have previous expertise managing the creation of embedded software for both RTOS and Linux class devices. The embedded platform software, including boot loaders, kernels, and several associated device drivers, should be well understood by this engineer. In addition to having a thorough grasp of WiFi/BLE and IP networking protocols, this engineering tech lead will be required to put quick prototypes on a range of hardware. Strongly sought is a thorough grasp of different bus technologies (SPI, UART, JTAG). Additionally, you should have experience working directly with PM teams and teams for mobile applications, services, and high-quality products that have previously launched.

Qualifications:

• Responsibilities include software architecture design, development, testing and maintenance of the cloud interface for our embedded elevator components.
• Analyzes the design and decides what coding, programming, and integration tasks need to be done based on the project’s goals and rules.
• Ensuring software and tools satisfy safety and regulatory criteria, such as automotive and industrial functional safety.
• Executes and produces testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned application section; finds and debugs code faults and offers improvements.
• Maintains communication with internal and external development partners on software design, the status of projects, and issues that need to be resolved.
• Belongs to a team with other software systems engineers, as well as internal and external development partners, to build dependable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for a specific system or subsystem allocated to them.
• To aid in development, the documentation provided is of high quality and usefulness. This comprises the design docs, code comments, and project specs.
• Designs limited updates, upgrades, and programming modifications for system software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
• Designs and improves embedded software applications and products used in the company’s fuel management systems. Contributes to our solutions in the automotive/telematics space.
• Other real-time, bespoke hardware-centric, embedded software solutions for Company Elevator Control and/or value-driven products will be added to the list of duties as time goes on.

Skills:

• a demonstrated history of designing, developing, and debugging embedded firmware, algorithms, demonstrations, and/or applications for motor control and power electronics.
• When doing research into technical issues, it is necessary to make consistent use of one’s imagination, creativity, and originality in order to create and implement complex concepts, as well as to provide new and unique approaches, methods, processes, and designs.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
• The capacity to independently investigate technological issues and come up with creative/innovative solutions has been shown. Knowledge of multi-threading, interprocess communication, and multi-computer architecture.
• The examination of feasibility and research, as well as design, development, and adherence to requirements, ensures that products and processes are consistent.
