One of the most essential responsibilities at IE is that of Digital Director, who is responsible for coordinating all digital activities. Managing a team of digital specialists and consultants, the Digital Director is responsible for creating goals and ensuring overall coherence throughout our digital persuasion campaigns. This function is responsible for overseeing millions of dollars in digital expenditure on the battlefield, and it demands substantial expertise operating effective sponsored digital programs. Candidates should be creative, hardworking, and absolutely committed to helping the Democrats win back the House.

Qualifications:

  • When it comes to our online marketing, you’re on your own for upkeep and enhancement. Google Ads, Facebook Ads, social media, and the website itself, in their current and future guises, may all fit into this category. It’s your responsibility to ensure that our targets for user interaction on digital platforms are met.
  • Contribute to the project management of digital programs, such as organic and paid media initiatives; oversee a wide range of digital initiatives, from inception to completion, and report on key milestones.
  • You will be tasked with creating TV and web videos of a relatively short length in order to increase brand awareness and website traffic.
  • Knowledge of modern web development standards and practices, including but not limited to HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery, APIs, responsive design, ASP.NET Web Forms and web services, and code versioning tools.
  • It might be worthwhile to create new administration tools, or at least to enhance the ones already in use.
  • Experience managing websites, producing and monitoring web traffic, designing and developing websites for the web and mobile devices, and working with internal teams and vendors is required.
  • A campaign’s success and new leads can be gauged by analyzing data from sources like website traffic and pay-per-click advertising.
  • You will be responsible for providing insightful feedback, critical analysis, and ongoing optimization during media briefings in order to ensure the agency’s plans are properly received by the media.
  • Always maintain a high degree of understanding of industry concerns and trends, especially in the areas of accessibility, usability, and new and emerging technology.
  • Use modern DevSecOps techniques to expedite the creation and distribution of products for sale to consumers on a regular basis.

Skills:

  • Capacity to work quickly, efficiently, effectively, and calmly under time constraints and a high volume of competing demands.
  • Prior experience in digital marketing for political campaigns, issue advocacy organizations, or other similar marketing professions is preferable; 5-7 years of experience is required for consideration.
  • Overtime work outside of regular shifts may be required of regular employees to ensure the company runs smoothly.
  • The ability to quickly grasp technical ideas and difficulties and convey them to a wide audience in a manner that is both accessible and amusing is crucial.
  • Experience with a variety of digital media tests, such as randomized control trials, A/B tests, platform brand lift tests, and others is desirable but not needed.
