The ideal applicant will have expertise with cloud automation and systems engineering, be a critical thinker, and be a scripter with good coding abilities that can be leveraged to automate repetitive operations. Qualifications:

• Proactively maintain and update AWS-hosted infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of security and reliability, and grow it efficiently in response to demand.
• Develop intimate ties with the development team to get an understanding of the code, its dependencies, and the infrastructure it runs in. Create and maintain systems for monitoring the app and its infrastructure.
• In this role, you will be responsible for the design, construction, configuration, and delivery of cloud infrastructure environments, all of which will make use of automation best practices and a proactive approach.
• Responsible for automating the infrastructure build in private cloud and public cloud environments and delivering technological evaluations in support of cloud migration and automation.
• Automate and construct a DevOps culture with our engineers to improve the software development and deployment experience.
• A keen attention to the results of business activities and a burning desire to see technology serve the organization’s goals in the most productive and successful manner possible, Capability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace while producing high-quality software and services
• Participate in the implementation and administration of technologies that allow software development life cycle automation, configuration management, and release management by collaborating with the development team.
• This person is in charge of streamlining and automating all aspects of the company’s operations. They are also in charge of identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes, as well as monitoring and maintaining the company’s production and non-production systems.
• To provide help to the development team in the areas of deployment strategy and capacity planning across the development, quality assurance (QA), staging, and production environments.
• Good grasp of AWS’s governance strategy for cloud-based infrastructure solutions. The ability to operate well in a fast-paced agile development environment.

Skills:

• Understanding of containerization deployment techniques using Docker Strong knowledge of and experience working in an agile development environment.
• understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, application performance monitoring, and alerting systems, as well as powerful skills in both issue solving and carrying out analysis.
• Bachelor’s in computer science or similar degree with 2 years’ experience necessary. One year of Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD pipeline experience necessary.
• Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and prioritize tasks in the face of conflicting deadlines and shifting company goals. Expertise in management tools Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, Sumologic, and Splunk are examples of big data analytics platforms.
• Solid familiarity with the administrative best practices for application servers, database servers, and third-party appliances, as well as an understanding of the techniques for maintaining high availability and security.
