Day Porters are the most visible representatives of our firm. Throughout the day, the Day Porter must maintain a professional, clean, and appealing workplace.

Job Title : Second Shift Day Porter
Location : Al Dhaid, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Salary : $ 23.52 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Locking and unlocking assigned buildings; safeguarding buildings while facilities are not in use, checking for unsecured doors and windows, reporting any unwanted occupants, and shutting off lights.
• Inspect and clean restrooms as needed; restock paper products as needed.
• As required by the building’s operational regulations, maintain a consistently pristine and enticing environment both inside and outside the property.
• Help the engineering staff out with tweaks and fixes around the facility.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the property on a regular basis by doing things like raking and cleaning the areas around the shrubs, shoveling the mud when necessary, and using a blower to clear the paths and walkways of any loose grass or debris.
• Make a weekly inventory of the cleaning materials and give the property manager a report.
• Notifying the Field Supervisor of essential tool and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Inspection and necessary cleaning of the break facilities, cafeterias, and/or lunchrooms.
• Report all unsafe circumstances and property maintenance repairs/conditions to the supervisor or manager, and take necessary action as directed.
• The use of standardized processes and procedures for cleaning and disinfecting restrooms.

Skills:

• Wear personal protection gear, and adhere to all safety rules.
• Always carry yourself in a professional manner, never letting your guard down or causing anyone any trouble.
• As required by the position, the ability to utilize equipment such as leaf blowers and paintbrushes.
• Capable of working early shifts, weekends, and extra hours as needed.
• Possess a minimum level of spoken and written English ability.
