The Program Analyst will work directly with the Business Management Team, providing business management and process improvement assistance to the team. To help with budget planning and reporting, acquisitions, issue formulation and solution proposal, process modification and improvement (continuous improvements), and support communications inside the business as well as with external stakeholders, you’ll give management assistance.

Qualifications:

• The structure of the organization, management policies and practices, and administrative operations, procedures, and mechanisms, as well as their efficiency and effectiveness, are evaluated using a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies and systems.
• maintain a regular presence in the IT-related business management office and aid with the compilation of business-related papers that involve sophisticated financial data from several programs and initiatives.
• Clarification of current management and program parameters is requested.
• The use of management and organizational strategies, processes, and procedures to carry out a broad range of research and projects with a long-term effect, as well as budgeting methods and techniques to generate assessments and estimations of resource requirements
• Current practices should be investigated, and documentation for particular activities, processes, and procedures should be provided as how-to/Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation.
• Make improvements to national programs that interact with the country in issue, either directly or indirectly, via third parties or multilateral organizations.
• Political events, terrorist threats and security sector dynamics, human rights situations, and administrative management concerns should all be kept in mind as they may have an impact on the United States Government’s ability to implement counter terrorism aid and/or capacity development initiatives.
• Verify a country’s political stability while also keeping an eye out for prospective dangers by conducting in-depth interviews and on-the-ground inspections.
• Monitor subject areas relevant to the nation or region, staying up to date on legislative and policy changes impacting the country’s attitude and responses.
• Developing innovative ways for measuring and assessing progress requires in-depth familiarity with a wide range of evaluation techniques.

• Understanding the policy implications of a certain issue, initiative, or development in a given geographic or functional specialized area is an essential skill for any professional.
• competence of foreign policy and intelligence communities to develop communication at all levels so that essential information between the two areas of operation is communicated
• The candidate must have at least two years of experience working in a PMO or a BMO to be considered (e.g. financial management, schedule management, risk management, communications management)
