Qualifications:

• When it comes to fostering a risk-free workplace, leaders are provided with direction and support. It’s important to invest in and set up any necessary safety or hazard control gear.
• Conduct thorough investigations of accidents and work with higher-ups and workers to find ways to fix any problems found. It’s important to monitor progress as you implement your strategy.
• He is in charge of setting up and presiding over all safety meetings. Creates, modifies, and presents or coordinates monthly safety training for many departments.
• Creates and executes a wide range of initiatives, such as those pertaining to ergonomics, chemical inventory/control, hazardous communications/SDS, and the protection of workers’ hearing. Annual audiometric testing is carried out, supplied, or arranged.
• Please lend a hand in making sure our project has a culture of safety and we achieve our goal of zero accidents (s).
• Check for potential dangers in the workplace on a regular basis so that corrective measures can be taken before an accident occurs. Evaluate whether or not any workers are engaging in potentially unsafe activities and, if so, whether or not they need additional safety training.
• Advice and technical assistance are provided on issues like as worker’s compensation and fitness for duty determinations to employees, supervisors, managers, and other interested parties.
• Maintains a schedule for all safety-related equipment and systems that includes testing, inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs. Assures that ILSM risks are detected and inadequacies are remedied in line with policy.
• Help ensure that all employees have received the proper training and that all SOPs, JSAs, and lockout procedures are up to date and audited.
• This position calls for consistent attendance, the aptitude to complete tasks without incident, and a strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures.

Skills:

• Software including word processors, slideshow creators, spreadsheets, and database management systems are essential.
• Compile information from various resources, then sort, analyze, and present it to upper management and the operational team, along with any suggestions you may have.
• The applicant needs to be a natural leader with a strong desire to always grow professionally.
• Excellent social, organizational, and verbal skills are required.
• A person who consistently demonstrates a commitment to integrity on the job. Demonstrates personal accountability for work-related outcomes and fosters an open and trustworthy culture. Use caution while working with highly classified and sensitive data.
