Qualifications:

• You may prepare and serve soft drinks and ice cream meals, such as ice cream sundaes, malted milks, sodas, and fruitades, by utilizing formulae and procedures that you have memorized or by following the guidelines that are provided.
• In addition to taking the customer’s order, the person at the register should be prepared to serve them, pour their beverages, and address any questions they may have regarding the menu.
• Make meals that can be made in a short period of time, as well as more time-consuming dishes. Following completion of a customer’s order, you are free to serve them at their table or counter.
• Presents food to Guests, traverses dining room for service opportunities, pre-busses and busses tables, and welcomes Guests entering, in line, or leaving the restaurant.
• Input the proper amount and offer the buyer precise change. Account for cash, credit, and complimentary purchases using specified protocols. Control and account for finances.
• Track orders and costs with dining room, service, and kitchen employees. Verify payments, complete transactions, issue documents and amend if required.
• Scan the items and make sure the prices are right or fix any problems with the amounts. Take the money in cash, credit card, check, or gift card form and process it as needed.
• Know the restaurant’s menu and products well and be excited about them. Help train new employees by praising them for good work and giving them help when they need it.
• Proactively engage with management on any concerns impacting the restaurant industry, both favorably and adversely.
• Has a working knowledge of and adheres to sauce protocol processes, such as how to pour and display sauces. A solid understanding of the menu, including recipes, allergies, and dietary restrictions, is shown.

• This employment requires seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving occasionally throughout working hours.
