Job Description

Market Research Analysts are responsible for understanding, preparing, processing, and evaluating data, among other things. In order to deliver incredibly significant information, the Market Research Analyst may be required to cooperate with either Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, or Data Governance professions, among other positions.

  • Conducts research and analysis on competition, price, sales, marketing, economic circumstances, advertising, distribution, and other things that may affect future sales.
  • Using data mining methods and tools, learn about markets, target consumers, and competing tactics. Then put those findings to good use.
  • Develop research objectives, prepare techniques, and compose survey questions to help our internal clients achieve their research objectives by working with the Market Research team.
  • The dissemination of useful information is done in a straightforward way that inspires others to act.
  • Involve the firm’s business areas and marketing team in designing and implementing strategies that will assist the company meet its goals, uncover process improvements, and improve the customer experience.
  • Be in charge of how data and information are gathered by the firm. Create visualizations like maps, charts, tables, and other data-driven outputs in order to make market research more accessible.
  • Show executives the results in charts, graphs, and other visual ways so that they can make better decisions about strategies and changes to business models, as well as new products and markets for them to sell and market.
  • Monitor the collection and compilation of data in order to produce periodic reports, such as those issued on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis. To aid in decision-making, establish baselines and track trends over time.
  • Produce and keep reports for management that give them information about new trends and areas for improvement (data analysis and narrative). Interpret data, write reports, and make suggestions.
  • Obtain data in a variety of formats from a broad variety of platforms and databases for use in processes, reports, and analytical tools on a regular basis. Obtain information on the internet and via subscriptions to corporate market software.


  • Ability to deal with data from several platforms and sources is critical for every organization. The ability to thoroughly investigate the facts without becoming alarmed.
  • Working with a broad variety of reporting systems, including Tableau (3-5 years), delivering measurable findings to aid improve revenue optimization.
  • The ability to develop formulas, connect spreadsheets, utilize pivot tables, graph data, and format data in Excel is an absolute must. Microsoft Office is a good option…
  • Prioritizing the identification and definition of problems before they become an issue.
  • Hands-on familiarity with advanced statistical software, such as SPSS or SAS, is required to do primary and secondary market research.
