The Accounting Manager is in charge of the accounting department. This job also serves as a consultant to the organization’s management, advising them on current budgetary facts and cooperating with them to build a fiscal strategy that is in line with the company’s goals. This position directly supervises personnel and performs supervisory activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations. Among the tasks include interviewing, hiring, mentoring, and training individuals; planning, assigning, and directing work; assessing performance; rewarding and disciplining personnel; and dealing complaints and resolving disputes.

Qualifications:

• Support the company with specific projects, such integrating new technology and examining how changes to the accounting rules will affect reporting.
• By doing research and analyzing data, find the answers to accounting and financial issues.
• Analyze current procedures and provide recommendations for modifications to increase departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the group’s financial and operational operations, including: Vendor contracts and agreements, acquisitions, revenue, invoicing, payables and expenditure processing.
• Improve the billing and collection process by working together with the client services team, media channel owners, and outside media partners.
• Reporting and reconciling transactions in a timely manner requires cooperation between the finance and business operations teams.
• Accounting assistance for audits and acquisitions is provided by examining financial information, translating data to the accounting system, acquiring supplemental information, and developing reports.
• Improve accounting procedures on a continuing basis in collaboration with the controller, finance, and business operations team members.
• Provide strategic guidance to the regional controller on operational performance, monetary rules, and business strategy.
• As needed, complete accounting- or business-related reports and analyses to aid the team’s accounting and organizational goals.

Skills:

• Capability to manage the in-transfer of some accounting duties, assess and improve processes and procedures, and train and improve the performance of the accounting staff.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint abilities are necessary. Additional knowledge with data warehouses, MS Access, HFM, and other databases is preferred.
• To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of four years of accounting experience, with an emphasis on investment accounting.
• Understanding of applicable laws, rules, and regulations as well as auditing procedures and practices.
• Perform thorough information analysis and evaluation, understanding, and explanation. Additionally, you have to have prior competence working in a group setting.
