Registered nurses (RN) are responsible for ensuring that patient care services are provided in accordance with recognised standards and assigning work to LPNs and/or nursing aides as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Keeps a close eye on what the residents need and changes care plans as needed based on what they say and what they suggest. Work with other members of the health care team to make sure that their work is coordinated so that care plans for residents can be analyzed, made, put into action, and measured. Consults.
• Care is provided in accordance with established hospital and unit policies, procedures and guidelines by a registered nurse. Throughout the nursing process, evidence-based care standards are used. Understanding of facts, knowledge of diseases/surgical conditions, care necessary, and sound judgment are used to make judgments in the field.
• Communicates relevant and complete information to incoming licensed personnel to ensure care continuity. Admission exams, continuous pain assessments, etc.
• Maintains responsibility for patient care activities by delegating them to the relevant staff members. Step-by-step guidance for other members of the healthcare team is provided.
• Predicts changes in patient care needs accurately. Reports and records changes in the patient’s condition to their charge nurse/supervisor and physician on a regular basis.
• Resident status and expectations for the next shift are communicated by subordinates before each shift begins. Additionally, they provide updates at the beginning, middle, and end of each shift.
• Builds and keeps up their professional and clinical skills. Completes all annual requirements for skills and education within the set parameters and time limits. Takes part in professional activities like staff meetings, meetings about caring for patients, educational in-services, and other activities. Keeps up with policies, procedures, and standards for performance.
• In accordance with applicable state rules, recognizes and helps prevent elder mistreatment, neglect, and exploitation (including financial).
• Assesses an allocated set of patients’ complete nursing requirements. Serves as a patient advocate. Throughout the patient’s stay, provides tailored patient and family-focused care and analyzes effectiveness.
• Medical/health care errors may be minimized by efficiently performing all aspects of patient care, documenting in compliance with established standards, and effectively interacting with patients.

Skills:

• Ability to effectively explain information and respond to questions from department executives, customers (patients, family members, physicians, and the general public). Ability to write reports on nursing operations and keep track of patient development.
• A comprehensive knowledge of nursing procedures and protocols a comprehensive knowledge of emergency medical procedures Capability to comprehend health and safety standards and protocols, as well as a commitment to adhering to them (sanitation, decontamination, etc.)
• It is required to have an associate’s degree in nursing, but a bachelor’s degree is highly recommended. Experience working in acute care nursing for at least one year, or its equivalent, is required for this position. Both a valid RN license and a valid BLS certification are necessities for this position.
• Analyze patients in their homes to determine their physical, psychological, and environmental requirements, as shown by documentation, clinical records, case conferences, team reports, and assessments.
• English language abilities, notably the ability to communicate with all levels of an organization. Managers seek candidates with management experience.
