The Supply Chain Manager oversees all areas of the company’s procurement, vendor relations, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. Supply chain methods for manufacturing and operations management are planned and implemented by this position Demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement are overseen by this position. Executives are contacted to get the resources required to meet client requests and assure delivery and/or execution.

Qualifications:

  • Be in constant communication with your purchasing manager and the senior supply chain planning manager to ensure the company has an adequate supply of all items. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.
  • Responsible for keeping meticulous records, compiling reports, and developing presentations to aid management in understanding the logistical perspective are all aspects of the job.
  • Handle all aspects of the warehouse function, which includes the acceptance of raw materials, the delivery of finished goods, and the management of both within the warehouse area.
  • Involved in the planning, coordination, communication, and documentation of cross-functional departments to ensure that the project team’s needs were met.
  • Ability to lead personnel in departmental operations such as conveying instructions, training, attaining objectives, completing duties asked by senior management in a timely manner, progressive punishment, and performance assessment
  • find and drive continuous improvement opportunities that will speed up the process, improve accuracy, and improve efficiency in the way operations are done.
  • The whole supply chain management role, as well as the planning and directing of the company’s activities and operations, come under this mandate.
  • Managing physical inventory accurately and efficiently, including ERP transaction accuracy, inventory events, and cycle counts is the duty of the inventory manager when used in conjunction with ERP software.
  • Resolve client issues and issues with the company’s products and services. Customer concerns about product quality or manufacturing should be brought to the attention of the proper authorities.
  • An established track record of providing analysis and using judgment in making decisions. It is anticipated that senior executives would communicate concisely in order to identify issues and provide solutions that are supported by evidence.
