Job Title : Project Accountant 1st Shift

Qualifications:

• Monitors construction projects and utility databases to ensure that they are kept up to date.
• Coordinates the preparation of specific financial reports related to building projects.
• Responsible for reviewing and comprehending the contract conditions pertaining to project type, scope of work, and billing terms.
• Monitoring and assessing the project’s performance finances would take up the most of your day.
• Check that the budget for the subconsultant was developed in compliance with the conditions that were outlined in the contract.
• Change orders, invoices, and additional services must all be applied to the correct account. Establishes procedures for transferring funds from the general fund to specific accounts for examination and approval.
• Project accounting manager assigns you to handle the financial aspects of projects entrusted to you.
• An ability to prioritize, pay attention to detail, keep track of minutiae, and double-check one’s own work are all requirements.
• Work with the regional finance manager, the project managers, and the project accounting manager.
• Assist in developing a corrective action plan, if necessary, to prevent project profit loss before it begins.

Skills:

• Excellent written and spoken English language skills are required for success in this profession.
• It is necessary to be able to identify problems and make proposals for their resolution. Policy and process expertise is essential.
• Computer literacy is required (Microsoft Office), with expertise with Excel at the Beginner Level and Oracle Accounting software preferable.
• The right person for the job is someone who is reliable, flexible, and willing to learn new skills.
• Application of substantial knowledge to sophisticated fiscal management concepts and methods requires considerable competence.
