The Production Assistant works in television production, handling a wide range of tasks necessary for the capture of scenes for both live and recorded broadcasts.

Qualifications:

• Preparing for photo shoots and putting together toys, furniture, home decor, apparel, activities, educational games, and crafts.
• use the right social media platforms to research topics and interact with readers (as required and directed).
• Notifying the higher-ups that the props are all neatly stashed and in the right places. Maintenance of prop stock and communication of needs to management.
• Develops host copy under editorial direction, including scripts, billboards, tape and copy pieces, and connecting copy.
• assisting with the movement of actual products throughout the studio.
• Accept additional responsibilities as they arise so that you can learn as much as possible about the department and the process.
• Composes and frames camera shots, using light, lenses, and camera settings to generate the effects desired by directors.
• Cleaning, painting, and minor repairs on walls, furniture, photo setups, and little props are essential for optimal upkeep.
• helping to organize the dressing rooms, prop rooms, and props.
• Moves cameras and manipulates equipment to achieve the desired depth of field, shutter speed, and other camera settings specified by the director.

Skills:

• being able to juggle a number of tasks at once while maintaining quality and meeting strict deadlines.
• The independence to conceive of, develop, and execute a programmatic series or other sustained effort.
• displayed an ability to write for broadcast media, with an emphasis on conciseness, precision, and grasp of standard English syntax.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
• Abilities in digital media, namely familiarity with social media as a resource for gathering information, engaging an audience, and conducting original research.
