Job Description

The Associate Product Manager’s primary responsibility is to assist a Product Manager (Senior Product Manager or Product Manager) with correct scope definition (functional requirements and acceptance criteria) and delivery for assigned client engagements. This job is very hands-on, and it helps our Product Managers identify and build solutions based on data-driven insights, research, and actionable routes to execution, which adds commercial value to our customers. Additionally, the Associate Product Manager will help with requirements creation, market research, competitive analysis, and analytics reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Participate in user acceptability testing and smoke testing as required to verify releases and release candidates satisfy functional requirements.

  • Design and provide high-quality products and services with the help of technical teams in order to improve client satisfaction.
  • A tight relationship between customers and product teams is needed to uncover and record client demands and opportunities (engineering, customer success, operations, etc.
  • To meet corporate goals, establish and execute a complete portfolio/product plan that includes product specifications, price strategy, and launch logistics. Driving or participating in the process for the business area annual operating plan; developing and implementing tactics; evaluating tactic performance with metrics through business reviews; and effectively utilizing and communicating with internal partners and/or external agencies are some of the responsibilities.
  • Collaborate in product category coordination and assist in the coordination of activities across R&D/product development, creative services, sales, marketing, planning, and finance.
  • Develops business area mastery, including market segment understanding, business model analysis, key metric analysis, forecasting sales and product demand, share performance, trends, competition, and customer critical success factors and needs through interaction with customers for program integration.
  • Planning, pricing, back-order management, and launch management execution are all responsibilities for the assigned segments and product lines. Involved in the development and management of enterprises in the United States and across the world.
  • A overview of major outcomes and trends from competitive research, including data when possible, may help build a baseline understanding of competitive behavior for people who are unfamiliar with the competitive environment.
  • For our customers’ digital products, storyboards aid in the development and implementation of new features.

Skills:

  • at its most basic level, understanding product management (e.g., reviewing income statement, cost analysis, SKU optimization, supporting data requirements for sales team)
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or the sciences, and at least four years of work experience in a problem-solving or analytical role.
  • Monitors product KPIs and objectives; discovers product improvement possibilities from findings
  • Comes to conducting research and competitor analysis to reflect fan demands and corporate objectives, then translates those wants and goals into product suggestions.
