An Executive Producer’s job is to ensure that all video, photography, and multi-media deliverables are developed, shot, and edited to meet or exceed the agency’s standards for creative quality, budget, and timeline. This entails securing materials and managing the activities of both in-house team members (such as creative directors and editors) and external contractors/partners (such as directors and production companies) across several, parallel workstreams. The ideal applicant will be able to collaborate effectively with both internal teams (such as project management, account management, and creative) and external partners.

Qualifications:

• Communicate frequently about newscasts with the team and the producers individually.
• oversees new producer training and mentorship, and supports their ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with the digital desk to assign the most appropriate material to each platform.
• Provides assistance in answering questions from client engagement teams. Will be available for local production as required and will be exposed to the Integrated Production work queue.
• Establish annual scopes for clients that include both the volume and estimated production budgets in close collaboration with the assigned alignment teams.
• manages the production schedules of all producers serving the regional market.
• The EP’s job description calls for them to “create jobs as volume dictates.”
• combines efforts with the creative team and producers to reach organizational objectives.
• You’ll need to find and bring on contract producers as needed, and it’s your job to do so.
• Involved in and helpful to new business endeavors by coordinating booking and scheduling of production sessions.
